AI WEB3 SERVICES PTY LTD is an Australian proprietary company in New South Wales. It was registered in 2026 and has shipped nothing. This page sets out what read only means in engineering terms, and why four prohibitions sit at the top of every page rather than in a footnote.
Read only
A one way valve, enforced by what the code cannot do.
Read only is easy to claim and awkward to prove. The version worth stating is the one that survives someone reading the source.
Public blockchains publish their contents to anybody who asks. A full node or an archival provider will hand over every block, every transaction, every log and every state change, and none of that requires a key, a signature or an account. That is the entire input to what we build.
Everything downstream of that input is arithmetic and presentation. There is no step at which a private key is needed, so there is no reason for one to exist anywhere in the system, and no reason for a signing library to be in the dependency list.
What that rules out
- No wallet connection is requested, on this site or in anything we build. No browser wallet is ever probed for accounts.
- No transaction is constructed, signed, broadcast or relayed by us.
- No private key, seed phrase, keystore file or hardware wallet is ever handled, imported or asked for.
- No custody of funds, and no arrangement under which anyone else holds funds on our behalf or on yours.
- No withdrawal path exists, because there is nothing to withdraw.
Why that is worth saying out loud
Most of the harm in this sector comes through the write path. Approvals granted to a contract nobody read, a signature request dressed up as a login, a bridge with a key that turned out to be a single person's laptop. A tool that only reads cannot participate in any of that, and the way to keep it that way is to make the absence structural rather than aspirational.
Repetition
Why the same four lines appear everywhere.
A visitor arriving at a company with Web3 in its name has already formed a set of assumptions before reading a word. Correcting them once, quietly, in a page nobody opens, is not correcting them.
So the four prohibitions appear in the hero, in a section of their own, in the footer of every page, in the terms of use as a contractual term, and in the privacy policy where they explain why certain categories of data are absent. That is deliberate repetition, and it is cheaper than the alternative.
The alternative is somebody assuming we can help them recover funds, or move a balance, or tell them what to buy. Those conversations waste their time and ours, and in the worst case somebody follows a link they should not have followed because they believed a company in this sector would naturally ask for a wallet connection.
The anti impersonation line
We will never ask you to connect a wallet, sign a message, approve a token allowance, send funds to an address, or install a browser extension. Any message, page or account that does any of those things while using our name is not us. Our only contact route is [email protected], and we will never contact you first about a wallet.
Regulatory position
What we are not licensed to do, stated before anyone asks.
Australian financial services regulation turns on what a business actually does. The safest position for a company at our stage is to stay clearly outside the perimeter and to say where the line is.
No Australian Financial Services Licence
AI WEB3 SERVICES PTY LTD holds no Australian Financial Services Licence, is not an authorised representative of any licensee, and is not exempt from the licensing requirement on the basis of any relief. Nothing we publish is financial product advice within the meaning of section 766B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). We give no personal advice and no general advice. We express no opinion about whether any digital asset, token, protocol or arrangement is a good or bad thing to acquire.
No dealing, no market
We do not deal in a financial product on our own behalf or on anyone else's, we do not arrange for anybody to deal, and we operate no facility through which offers to acquire or dispose of anything are regularly made or accepted. There is no order book, no matching engine, no quote, no over the counter desk and no introduction service.
No AUSTRAC registration, because we are not a digital currency exchange
A digital currency exchange provider must register with AUSTRAC under the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). We do not exchange digital currency for money or money for digital currency, so we are not required to register and we hold no such registration. Were the business ever to move in that direction, registration would come before the service, not after it.
What we would do if the line moved
Regulation in this area changes. If a view we build turned out to sit inside the licensing perimeter, the honest options are to change the view or to get licensed, and we would say which one we had chosen on this page before the view was published. Quietly continuing is not on the list.
